BERKELEY, Calif. — Local crust punk Brad Garnett has taken his vegan activism to the next level, adopting a 100 percent vegan, plant-based dog. The dog, a lettuce and spinach mix, was reportedly saved from a shelter just days before it was chopped up and served as a salad.
“My other dog loves loud noises and confined spaces,” Garnett said. “But I’m worried if I bring Cesar to a show he’ll wilt.”
