Nick Diaz Preparing For Return to The Octagon By Training With Gas Mask Bong

MMA welterweight great Nick Diaz appears to be jeopardizing his comeback attempt with the UFC when recent footage from his gym showed the fighter training in a gas mask bong.

According to reports out of the Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Diaz has embraced marijuana to a previously unseen extent, making the substance part of his every aspect of his training.

“I love cannabis. Officials need to reevaluate its use in the sport,” Diaz said, pausing to hit a marijuana vape pen. “I wouldn’t be where I’m at today in Mixed Marijuana… Mixed Martial Arts without it.”

Well-known for his stamina in the ring, Diaz began wearing the gas mask bong while in the gym to not only improve his cardio but keep him unfathomably high during every available moment in the day.

“Weed helps me with so much in my training. It helps with muscle recovery, it keeps my anxiety low, and it helps me understand what is happening on Mr. Robot a lot better,” Diaz said while munching some marijuana gummy candies.

Diaz’s trainer Cesar Gracie is on board with the weed-only training regime.

“We packed the heavy bags with pot because Nick says it helps break up the weed for his blunts, and the pool he does laps in is 100 percent bong water,” Gracie said. “I think it’s disgusting and I don’t see the point of it, but it seems to be working for him.”

Upon reviewing footage of Diaz’s training methods, Dr. J Daniel Carpenter of Las Vegas
from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) said the commission is considering a preemptive lifelong ban on Diaz fighting in the state again.

“From what I’ve witnessed, Mr. Diaz will have a very difficult time passing a urinalysis or even a visual analysis. In my professional opinion, this guy is high as shit,” Carpenter said.

But Diaz remains unfazed by any potential suspension threats from NSAC or USADA regarding his marijuana use.

“I’m in the best shape of my life,” Diaz said. “I train by day and listen to the Joe Rogan podcast by night. No sleep needed. Just smoke weed.”
