The Top 5 Podcasts That Make Up My Entire Identity

I love podcasts. You can download them to your phone and have an alpha male father figure shouting in your ear every second of the day! These are the top 5 podcasts I listen to every day that shape 100% of who I am as a human being.

1. The Joe Rogan Experience

Joe Rogan has given us a modern day enlightenment. He has literally everyone famous on his show and the best part is he doesn’t have any opinions! He’s just asking questions! No matter how controversial or downright bigoted a person is, Joe Rogan will treat them respect and take their opinions seriously! He has opened my mind to a lot of truly terrible thoughts that normally I would have just ignored.

2. Waking Up with Sam Harris

Sam Harris has degrees in Philosophy and Neuroscience so you know that no matter what he says, it must be true. Did you know he did mushrooms and acid? He’s so cool! He’s just like me, I too am really super smart and love doing drugs. Sam Harris is an atheist but talks about spirituality, he just gets me, you know? Did I mention he did acid?

3. Tim Ferriss Podcast

I love Tim Ferriss because he’s all about hacking life. I like to think of myself as a businessman, an entrepreneur, and I love to listen to Tim Ferriss and come up with ideas how I too can set up an online business making millions of dollars while never working! I’ve never started any of these ideas but this dude really has life figured out and if I can just copy him exactly I’ll be set.

4. Jocko Podcast

Jocko was a Navy Seal, a man’s man. When I listen to Jocko, I too feel like I was in the Navy Seals even though I’ve never done a pushup! That’s how powerful this podcast is. Jocko preaches about discipline and a hard work ethic, which is exactly the type of thing I need to hear because I’ve never had either of them. Jocko wakes up every day at 4:30 and works out, he takes a picture of his watch and posts it on instragram, every time I click “like” on his pictures I too feel like I’m getting up early and making something of myself, it’s really inspirational.

5. Jordan Peterson

If Joe Rogan is bringing in an new enlightenment, then Jordan Peterson is our philosopher king. Listening to Jordan Peterson every day is like having your dad in your ear at all times. He says such insightful things as “clean your room”. Wow!!! So inspiring. My room is filthy, sometimes I don’t even get up to pee I just use an old soda bottle, and it’s so inspiring to know that all I have to do to fix my life is exhibit a small amount of basic hygiene. Why did nobody tell me this??? This is why Jordan Peterson is so popular. Thousands of guys just like me who live in our own filth, wear diapers, and don’t go outside finally have someone to tell us what to do and how to live our lives.

There you have it, those are the podcasts I listen to every day. The best part about podcasts is that they are so long, usually when I’m done listening to my inspirational podcasts about how to live life it’s already time for bed!
