Widespread oppression and under-representation of minority groups is an issue that plagues our society as a whole. This issue has gone on long enough and I say today is the day we band together, roll up our sleeves, and make a difference. This issue isn’t about us, but if we work together we can change that.
Every time I turn on television I see cop killing another innocent person or entire neighborhoods being forced to move out of their homes. It makes me sick.
Because none of these issues are about me. An average, completely normal, college educated middle class white man.
Do you know what it feels like for your people to be ignored? To be shoved aside in the national conversation? I don’t know about you, but it makes me furious. Last week I was so furious I threw a rock at a cop. Well, technically a security guard at the geology center I took my niece to, but still. Actually, scratch that. I threw a rock at a living symbol of oppression!
Look at that, we’re changing the narrative already.
Anyway, that bigoted monster just gave me my rock back. He assumed I picked it up to study it but it slipped out of my hand due to how excited I was to explain some rock shit to my niece. What a prejudiced, privileged assumption. And even though he was completely right, I filed a complaint with his manager.
About the inflated gift shop prices.
I mean, what are they trying to do? Price out nice middle class people like us and make us… relocate to a poorer geology center so… rich people can take over our old geology center?
YES! We did it! It’s about us too now!
Alright everybody, I’ll see you on the front lines of the picket! We’ll meet at the picket fence in front of Jerry’s house in our gated community.
We shall overcome!
