I want those reading this to know that the band, who released a three-video trilogy to go along with the album, did not drag me to an abandoned warehouse and torture me with a pineapple before devolving into a fight amongst themselves. I was blindfolded the entire time and know nothing about any money that may or may not be missing from a poker game. I am just an everyday policeman, eager to be reunited with his family and friends.
The Frontman, and leader of the gang holding me here, Tom McFaull, has a storied musical lineage running through his veins. I have been instructed to inform you that he is the son of Colin McFaull, singer of the legendary Cock Sparrer, and he’s learned a lesson or two from his father. With this pedigree, the younger McFaull, who has a distinguishing tattoo on his left upper arm (visible while he wears a t-shirt, is a Caucasian male and stands somewhere between 5’10” and 6’2″) leads the charge for a new generation of punk bands with incomparable charisma and anger that cannot fail to impress.
Defying genres and various felonies, impossible to put in a box or jail cell if authorities don’t act fast, this is a band you’ll want to interview rather than review (separately, without letting them coordinate their stories). And B.S.P. are ready and waiting for your questions, excited to tell you of their intent, passions, and alibis. This Bar Stool Preachers album is the perfect blend of intelligent punk anthems and poignant, unsentimental love songs, both combined with the most infectious music you’ll hear this decade.
