LOS ANGELES—Sir Patrick Stewart, the beloved actor who passed away earlier today, most famous for his role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation,’ has reportedly appeared before numerous nerds across the country as a ‘Star Wars’ force ghost, seemingly just to irritate them, sources within the nerd community confirm.
“I was so bummed to learn that he passed; imagine my shock when I turned around, and there he was!” reported Anthony Henderson, a nerd. “But then I noticed he was wearing a robe, was sort of transparent with a blue hue, and was saying stuff like ‘Use the force, Neo!’ I was like, ‘Wait a minute, is he making fun of me?!’ Then he vanished before I could ask or get any clarity on why his positronic body continued to age on ‘Picard.’ He seemed to find this all very funny, but I have some notes!”
At press time, Sir Stewart’s spirit was reportedly heckling all of his famous friends who actually did the ice bucket challenge instead of making a donation.
